| Library plans week of activities
May 19-26 is Library Celebration Week at the Reedsport Branch Library, 395 Winchester Ave. During the week, the library will be hosting several events including:
n Monday, May 19, from 4 to 6 p.m., Friends of the Library 30th Anniversary Party with a 300 book giveaway.
n Wednesday, May 21, from 3:30 to 5 p.m., Kids’ Balloon Party, all ages are welcome.
n Thursday, May 22, from 5 to 6:30 p.m., Renovation Recognition.
n Saturday, May 24, from 1 to 3 p.m., chalk art contest and book sale.
n Monday, May 26, noon, Memorial Day Parade.
